Terms & Agreements

Our agreements, in one place

Last updated: August 14, 2026
Legal pages are usually written to protect one side. We’d rather you actually understand this one. Everything lives on this page: the terms that govern this website, and the agreements that shape every Academy service, session, class, and program. The short version: be kind, use the site in good faith, know that our content is education rather than medical or professional advice, and know that purchases happen on our partners’ platforms under their terms. For how this website handles data, see our Privacy Policy.

Terms of Service

1. Who we are

This website, academyoflogicandlight.com (the “Site”), is operated by the Academy of Logic and Light (the “Academy,” “we,” “us”). The Academy is an accessible community space for spiritual exploration, free from indoctrination.

2. Accepting these terms

By using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site. We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above will always tell you when. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

3. Education, not advice

Everything on this Site (courses, videos, podcasts, books, events, readings, and community programs) is offered for educational, informational, and spiritual-exploration purposes only. Nothing here is medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice, and nothing here diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents any condition.

Our practitioners share complementary and spiritual practices. These are not a substitute for care from a licensed physician, therapist, or other qualified professional. Always seek qualified care for medical or mental-health concerns, and never delay or stop treatment because of something you encountered here. You are sovereign: decisions about your own wellbeing are yours, made with the professionals you trust.

4. Purchases happen on partner platforms

The Site itself doesn’t process payments or hold accounts. When you buy a course, membership, book, or ticket, checkout happens on WithMe (withme.so); merch is sold through partners like Etsy and Custom Ink. Those purchases are governed by each platform’s own terms, pricing, and refund policies. Questions about a specific order should go to the platform you bought it on, and you can always reach out to us too, and we’ll help you find the right door.

5. Community conduct

The Academy runs on mutual respect, consent, and sovereignty. Our Code of Ethics is the heart of how we treat each other, and it applies to every Academy space, including anything connected to this Site. Don’t use the Site to harass anyone, break the law, disrupt or overload our services, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to anything.

6. Our content and yours

The content we create, including text, artwork, logos, characters (yes, even Winston and Lumo), course materials, and video, belongs to the Academy or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You’re welcome to view, share links to, and personally use it; please don’t republish, sell, or claim it as your own without written permission.

If you contribute something to an Academy space (like a submission to a community experiment), you keep ownership of it, and you give us permission to display it as part of that experience.

7. Links to other places

The Site links out to third-party platforms such as YouTube, WithMe, social media, partner shops. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, policies, or practices. A link is an invitation, not an endorsement of everything on the other side of it.

8. The Site is provided “as is”

We work hard to keep the Site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Academy and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the Academy is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

10. Talk to us

Questions about these terms? Reach us through any of the Academy’s social channels linked in the footer below. A real person will answer.

General Disclaimer

The Academy of Logic & Light provides spiritual, intuitive, energetic, educational, and personal development services designed to support self-awareness, healing, personal growth, and spiritual exploration.

Services offered through the Academy of Logic & Light are complementary in nature and are not intended to replace medical care, mental health treatment, therapy, counseling, legal advice, financial advice, or any other licensed professional service.

Practitioners associated with the Academy of Logic & Light do not diagnose, treat, prescribe for, cure, or prevent medical or mental health conditions through spiritual, intuitive, or energy-based services. Clients should always consult an appropriately licensed professional regarding medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional concerns and should not discontinue or alter professional treatment based on information received through an Academy service.

Spiritual, psychic, mediumship, intuitive, energetic, and other spiritually based experiences are personal and may be interpreted differently by each individual. Information received during these services is intended to provide insight, guidance, healing, reflection, or spiritual support. Clients are encouraged to use their own judgment and discernment when deciding how that information applies to their lives.

Energy work and other complementary practices may affect individuals differently. Experiences and results vary, and the Academy of Logic & Light and its practitioners cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results from any service, session, class, mentorship, program, or other offering.

Participation in services offered through the Academy of Logic & Light is voluntary. By choosing to participate, clients acknowledge that they remain responsible for their own decisions, actions, choices, health, wellbeing, and interpretation of any information or guidance received.

The Academy of Logic & Light reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a service when a practitioner determines that the service is outside their scope, is not appropriate for the individual, or when another type of professional support may be more appropriate.

Privacy Policy

The Academy of Logic & Light respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us.

Depending on the service you receive, you may also voluntarily share personal experiences or other information that helps an Academy practitioner provide the service.

We ask only for information that is reasonably necessary to provide, manage, communicate about, or improve the services and experiences offered through the Academy.

How Your Information May Be Used

  • Schedule and provide services, sessions, classes, programs, events, and other offerings.
  • Communicate with you regarding appointments, purchases, services, programs, or inquiries.
  • Process transactions and maintain appropriate business records.
  • Provide appropriate follow-up or support related to a service.
  • Maintain and improve Academy operations, services, and client experiences.
  • Comply with applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

Personal information will not be sold or rented to third parties.

Protection of Your Information

The Academy of Logic & Light takes reasonable measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse, or loss.

Access to personal information is limited to individuals who reasonably require that information to perform their responsibilities or provide services through the Academy.

No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. While reasonable precautions are taken, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Sharing of Information

Personal information is not shared outside the Academy of Logic & Light except when:

  • You have given permission.
  • Sharing is reasonably necessary to provide a service you have requested.
  • A trusted service provider requires limited information to perform services on behalf of the Academy, such as payment processing, scheduling, website hosting, or email communication.
  • Disclosure is required by law, court order, or other legal obligation.
  • Disclosure is reasonably necessary to address an immediate safety concern.

Within the Academy, limited information may be shared between practitioners when reasonably necessary to coordinate services, provide appropriate support, or collaborate regarding a client’s experience. Only information relevant to that purpose should be shared.

Communications

If you provide your contact information, the Academy may use it to communicate with you regarding services you have requested, appointments, purchases, programs, events, or other relevant Academy matters.

Marketing or promotional communications may also be sent when you have chosen to receive them. You may unsubscribe from promotional communications at any time.

Website and Third-Party Services

The Academy’s website or online services may use third-party platforms for functions such as scheduling, payments, email communication, forms, video conferencing, or website operation.

These third-party services may collect and process information according to their own privacy policies. The Academy of Logic & Light is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third-party platforms.

Children’s Privacy

Some Academy services may be offered to children with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

Information concerning a child should be provided by, or with the authorization of, the child’s parent or legal guardian. The Academy takes additional care when handling information relating to minors and uses such information only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service and communicate with the parent or legal guardian.

Your Privacy Choices

You may contact the Academy of Logic & Light to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information maintained by the Academy, subject to any information the Academy is legally or reasonably required to retain for business, financial, safety, or legal purposes.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

The Academy of Logic & Light may update this Privacy Policy as services, technology, business practices, or legal requirements change. The most current version will replace previous versions when posted or otherwise made available.

Confidentiality Policy

The Academy of Logic & Light recognizes that clients may share personal, emotional, spiritual, and sensitive information during sessions, classes, mentorships, programs, communications, and other Academy experiences. Protecting that trust is important to us.

Information shared by clients is treated as confidential and should only be accessed or discussed when reasonably necessary to provide services, support the client, conduct Academy operations, or meet legal or safety obligations.

Practitioner Confidentiality

Academy practitioners are expected to respect the privacy and confidentiality of the individuals they serve.

Confidential information may include:

  • Personal information and life experiences.
  • Information discussed during sessions, classes, mentorships, or other services.
  • Spiritual, psychic, mediumship, intuitive, or energetic information received or discussed during a service.
  • Written communications between clients and Academy practitioners.
  • Session notes, reports, summaries, or other client-related materials.
  • Information concerning a client’s family members or other individuals discussed during a service.

Client information should not be shared publicly or outside the Academy without the client’s permission unless disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to address an immediate safety concern.

Collaboration Between Academy Practitioners

The Academy of Logic & Light values responsible collaboration between practitioners.

There may be circumstances in which consultation or collaboration between Academy practitioners can better support a client, coordinate services, provide professional perspective, or help determine the most appropriate Academy resource or practitioner for an individual’s needs.

When appropriate, limited client information may be discussed between Academy practitioners who are directly involved in providing, coordinating, supervising, or supporting the client’s Academy services.

Only information reasonably necessary for the purpose of the consultation or collaboration should be shared.

Internal collaboration does not give Academy practitioners unrestricted access to client information. Client privacy should continue to be respected throughout the collaborative process.

Exceptions to Confidentiality

Confidentiality may be limited when:

  • The client gives permission for information to be shared.
  • Disclosure is required by applicable law, legal process, or court order.
  • There is a reasonable and immediate concern regarding the safety of the client or another person.
  • Information must be shared with an authorized service provider to perform a necessary administrative or business function.
  • Limited internal consultation between appropriate Academy practitioners is reasonably necessary to support or coordinate the client’s services.

Client Stories, Testimonials, and Educational Use

Client experiences, testimonials, session information, or identifying details will not be publicly shared for marketing, social media, teaching, educational materials, publications, or other public purposes without appropriate permission.

When a client gives permission for their experience or testimonial to be shared, the Academy will honor the agreed-upon level of identification or anonymity.

Respecting the Privacy of Others

Clients participating in group classes, circles, mentorships, events, workshops, or other shared Academy experiences are also expected to respect the privacy of other participants.

Personal experiences or information shared by another participant should not be recorded, copied, posted publicly, or shared outside the group without that individual’s permission.

Confidentiality helps create an environment in which clients, students, practitioners, and community members can participate openly while knowing their personal experiences will be treated with respect.

Client Acknowledgment

By booking, purchasing, enrolling in, or participating in a service, session, reading, healing experience, class, course, mentorship, event, program, or other offering through the Academy of Logic & Light, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • I understand that the Academy of Logic & Light offers a variety of spiritual, intuitive, energetic, educational, and personal development services provided by individual Academy practitioners.
  • I understand that Academy services are complementary in nature and are not a substitute for medical care, mental health treatment, therapy, counseling, legal advice, financial advice, or other licensed professional services.
  • I understand that Academy practitioners do not diagnose, treat, prescribe for, cure, or prevent medical or mental health conditions through spiritual, intuitive, or energy-based services.
  • I understand that spiritual, psychic, mediumship, intuitive, and energetic experiences are personal and may be interpreted differently by each individual. Information received through these services is intended to provide insight, guidance, healing, reflection, education, or spiritual support.
  • I understand that experiences and results vary and that no specific outcome or result can be promised or guaranteed.
  • I understand that I am responsible for using my own judgment and discernment regarding information, guidance, or experiences received through Academy services. I remain responsible for my own choices, decisions, actions, health, and wellbeing.
  • I understand that participation is voluntary and that I may choose whether or not to participate in a particular exercise, practice, discussion, or experience.
  • I understand that some services may involve emotional, energetic, spiritual, or personal exploration and that thoughts, emotions, memories, physical sensations, or other personal experiences may arise during or following participation.
  • I understand that information I share with the Academy will be handled in accordance with the Academy of Logic & Light Privacy Policy and Confidentiality Policy.
  • I understand that limited information may be shared between appropriate Academy practitioners when reasonably necessary to coordinate services, collaborate regarding my experience, or provide appropriate support, as described in the Confidentiality Policy.
  • I understand that individual services, classes, programs, events, or practitioners may have additional instructions, requirements, policies, or acknowledgments specific to that offering.
  • If I am booking or authorizing a service for a minor, I confirm that I am the minor’s parent or legal guardian, or that I otherwise have legal authority to provide consent for the minor’s participation.

By completing a booking, purchase, registration, enrollment, or other form of participation with the Academy of Logic & Light, I confirm that I have had the opportunity to review the Academy’s applicable policies and voluntarily choose to participate.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that life happens and plans sometimes need to change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to respect our clients while also respecting the time our Academy practitioners reserve specifically for each appointment.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We ask that you provide at least 72 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Appointments canceled or rescheduled at least 72 hours before the scheduled appointment may be canceled or moved to another available date and time without a cancellation fee.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 72 hours before the scheduled appointment are subject to a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service price.

Missed Appointments / No-Shows

If you miss your scheduled appointment without providing notice, a fee equal to 75% of the scheduled service price will apply.

Emergencies & Unexpected Circumstances

We understand that true emergencies and unexpected circumstances can occur. Exceptions to the cancellation and rescheduling policy may be considered on an individual basis at the discretion of the Academy of Logic & Light or the individual practitioner.

Practitioner Cancellations

If an Academy practitioner needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you will not be charged a cancellation or rescheduling fee.

You will have the option to reschedule your appointment or receive a refund for any payment already made for the affected service.

Refunds for Completed Services

Services that have already been provided or completed are non-refundable.

Because spiritual, intuitive, energetic, educational, and personal development experiences are individual in nature, dissatisfaction with the outcome, interpretation, information received, or personal experience of a completed service does not constitute grounds for a refund.

Courses, Mentorships, Certifications, Events & Other Offerings

Courses, mentorships, certifications, events, programs, digital products, and other Academy offerings may have cancellation and refund terms that differ from individual appointments.

Any additional or different cancellation and refund terms will be provided with the applicable offering at the time of registration or purchase.

Agreement to This Policy

By booking, purchasing, registering for, or participating in an Academy of Logic & Light service or offering, you acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation & Refund Policy.
